The 41st annual Pan-Pacific Festival celebrates culture, traditions, and family fun! The Festival takes place June 12-14, 2020 in beautiful Waikīkī and is expected to draw 100,000 attendees from Hawaii and around the world. The Festival kicks off Friday with a Hoolaulea that features a little something for everyone. The Street Dance Festival will feature Kazuki and Noppo, award-winning dancers/choreographers from Japan. In addition, there will be 5 stages filled with musicians, dancers, singers, taiko drummers and other cultural performers. Food vendors and Island crafters will also line Kalakaua Avenue. Finally, at the Diamond Head end of the Hoolaulea there will be a festive Bon Dance with kimono-clad performers. The 20th annual Hula Festival happens on all 3 days. Relax, listen to the rolling surf, and watch the sunset as halau from Japan share the stage with local halau each night at the Kūhiō Beach Hula Mound. Performing Arts Showcase will span 4 stages at the Ala Moana Center, the International Market Place, the Waikīki Beach Walk, and the Royal Hawaiian Center. The list of performers will be announced in late May. The Festival wraps up Sunday, June 14 with the Pan-Pacific Parade marching down Kalakaua Avenue. The parade will feature hundreds of other colorful participants from Hawaii, across the country and around the world. For more information visit All events are free and open to the public.
